Red Horse Leather was founded in 2010 through frustration at the lack of high quality horse gear and guitar straps available.

So in the good old fashioned Aussie spirit, Jason - also a passionate and skilled musician and horseman - said "I'll make them instead!"

When people saw the products he'd made came the question "Can you make me…?", thus Red Horse Leather was born. 

In an age of production factories making products from materials from the lowest bidder on production lines by multiple people, Red Horse Leather takes pride in old fashioned craftsmanship and make everything by hand by one single person to ensure the highest quality product is made every single time.

We believe that a product is only as good as the raw materials used to make it, hence we use only the finest leathers available from some of the best tanneries in the world. We use only solid brass or stainless steel hardware and saddlery leathers from the most renowned tanneries in America and English bridle leather from the UK for our bridles and strapping.

With proper care and dressing from the customer, this ensures that your product will develop and mature with age, as a quality leather product should.
